Leeby JSchoComment: I like the intensity of this photo. The subject's expression is defiantly insecure. I don't like how much black space fills the right side of the image; it distracts from the amazing intensity you have captured in the subject's face. |

The Tree Stands Aloneby aerogurlComment: The scale is interesting in this photo, but I don't see anything dramatic enough to really capture my attention. |

Midnight Snackby StevePaxComment: Fun idea, but the values are too limited and huge while space just doesn't work well for me. The cropping of the bottom pretzel is too symetrical; cutting image right in the midline makes it seem contrived rather than random. |

Convolutedby sherComment: How can you go wrong with unfurling fronds? Crop it closer and let it take over the picture. Nice detail in the foreground. The background is too much and too soft to complement your focal point, which is stunning by the way. |

Montmartre by nightby GabrielComment: This photo has the possibility to be breathtaking. I think the high contrast intensity of the lights distracts from what otherwise is a brilliant photo. Tone those done and let the amazing composition and your eye for a great picture take over and speak for themselves. Wow! what a great idea for a piece. |

Still Life in B&Wby lytaComment: I like the element in the foreground of this photo very much. I would crop it so it is that element which fills the frame. The values are outstanding. Nice job. |

A Path to Eternityby soheilComment: Rather than making me feel that this is a path leading somewhere, I feel trapped and boxed in by this piece. My eye goes directly to the corner on the near side of the arch. The tension created is suffocating rather than liberating. |

Hayden Fallsby xtabintunComment: I love the trees at the top of the waterfall. I don't like how much space is dedicated to the dark rocks in the right of the frame. They distract from your focal point rather than enhance it. It is simply a matter of cropping. The rocks themselves would make an interesting image. There are some amazing things going on in this piece, each could stand on its own with some different framing. |
