Very nice. Great engagement with your subject. I like the cropping and the earthy reality of the chapped cheeks and chin along with the salive on the subject's hand. The slight assymmetry of the expression and the placement of the hands catches and keeps my attention.

I like this image. The while petal that cursl somewhat up and over the center is really an essential dynamic of this image. If everything was as crisp and tight as that petal, this would be a very dramatic use of the values on the light end of the scale. I think that the softness in of the petals in the lower right corner and that the main focal point falls almost dead center are my only criticisms of this image. I think the concept of keeping a tight value range and doing it so well is brilliant. This photo is very close to being truly stunning.

I am obviously missing something because I see a leaf. There are some great values at the dark end of the scale, but I don't see a focal point. The composition is chaotic.

Scary Looking Future

The image draws the eye upward so I find it incongruent with your title. The photo is washed out, but the light and shadow at the front edges is really quite nice. I think that should be your focal point. Interesting angle, but the image doesn't seem complete. I would try cropping it a variety of ways. I am not sure what would be best; I would want to play with it a bit. I think it is the way the trees are cut in half that gives it an unfinished look.

Interesting framing: very nice. I would like the contrast to be less and brightness up a bit so that I can make out the images on the shore, giving a wider variety of values. The framing and compostition are really quite nice. With a few adjustments this photo could be really stunning.

I would crop this so the aggressive bird filled the frame. It would be even more intense if we didn't know that he is reacting to another bird. Leave that to our imagination, and let the image captivate us because that image is fantastic. You have captured a great picture. Don't let anything else distract us. The feathers in the wing on the right side of the frame are stunning.

Interesting ideal. I would like more of a focal point and for all the diamonds to be crystal crisp. I think eliminating the shadow or making it more specific would add to this image.

I love this photo. The angle is perfect with the subject looking away. What strikes me the most is that there is very little animation in your subject's expression, he's even wearing sunglasses for heaven's sake, yet you capture his interest or bemusement at something, hence your title. Am I right? For me, that makes this photo transcend the ordinary. I also like that you have your subject looking toward the left side of the frame, which gives it a wistful rather than a hopeful feeling. I just feel like he is looking at something that brings back a happy memory of something he longs for. All that from a picture of a guy standing and looking away from your camera. Quite amazing, actually.

Very interesting point of view. I want to reach up and wipe the condensation off the glass or plastic. I like this a lot. It would be cool to see a bit more contrast, but that might give it a surreal look. Anyway, nice work. I commend your originality and ability to see the beauty in what many would overlook. Bravo!

As a mother and a woman, I love this photo. The pride and happiness you have captured in your subject's expression, along with the comfort she has with her changing body make this image stunning. This is one of the most comfortable and positive nudes of a pregnant woman I have seen. Stunning work! Great angle and framing. I also like the play of light and shadow on her face and body with her body being lit more than her face. Wow! Have I mentioned that I like this photo?
