Snap the Habitby hdogg4uComment: Oh man, these cigarettes are just too neatly broken. I bet your life is organized and you make lists and stick to them, don't you? I just want to reach up and mess this shot up a bit. |

Mend some fencesby geewhyComment: Great concept, but i just can't get into this fence. I want a focal point for something that grabs my attention. Wish I would have thought of the brilliant idea, though. Great brain you have. |

No Clueby EurydiceLivesComment: I love the rust of the metal and the grey of the old wood. The rusty nails are a nice touch. Interesting composition. 9 |

Past Usefulnessby brooklynComment: The depth of field and the crisp images in this shot are great. I also love the selective desaturation. Great motif of doors and windows. This is a nice change of pace from all the shiny metal in this challenge is is one of my favorites. Nice shot and processing. 10 |

Old Town Harborby CamComment: I don't know if you got a lot of comments about this not meeting the challenge. I don't really care whether it does or doesn't (considering that I see the man as your focal point); it is a stunning shot. I love the motif of the masts and the great technical work. I am impressed with the range of values and the snow. I am going to consider the mechanics being the masts and sails. Stunning work. 10 |

Wheelbarrowby SmittyDFWComment: Great nostalgic feeling to this shot. I like the use of the woodpile as a backdrop. The dappled lighting adds so much to this shot. Since I see the wheelbarrow as a thing of the past, I would flip this horizontally to have it moving off the screen to the left to symbolize the past. I would just try it so see if it worked. It may not since the lighting from the right suggests sunset for me rather than sunrise so flipping it could mess that up. Sweet shot. 9 |
