thanks everyone for your comments on my first challenge submission. I was glad to see people noticed a few of my goals. I was aiming for the shadow play between the actual wires and their shadows, and also the partial capturing of the headphones. Blueswolfs' comment were exactly my thoughts. What I had composed exactly in my mind did not turn out as I had planned, but I guess that's where the P8 is lacking.

I love the lines of this photo. And the small range of color's adds a painting type feel to a very sharp pictured; From the blacks, to blues, to grays and whites. Well done.

Awesome composition. Photo is very sharp, great DOF, I like how even the thinner "capillary" type branches are still clearly visible. The fog gives a perfect soft lighting effect to the entire photo, it gives a sense of center with the whiter areas while it gradually darkens shaping a type of "frame" towards the edges.

Very sharp. Composition of the bird in the frame seems to be perfect. Not sure if its the position of the sun or the color of the birds feathers but the outer lining of the wings has this "silver lining" type effect going on. Overall, the picture has an "unreal" (in a positive sense) feel to it. Well done.
