Snowfield Dreamby kosmikkreeperComment: Very nice. I like the soft touch which does seem like a "dream" shot. The moon light may be a bit blown out which may mean that a few less seconds of exposure time may be in order.
Great shot!

Faded Valentineby JC_HomolaComment: The vase is very well done. But I have a problem with the flowers. Even though they are wilted, there is entirely too much color which makes it, in my opinion, alive. |

FEAR is the darkest BLACKby jmritzComment: Very well done. I am looking at this in the dark. Thanks, now I have the willies. The only thing I don't care for is the catch lights in the eyes. They look fake to me. They are NOT bright and shiny, just a dull afterthought. I like! |

The Weathervane that sits on top of my garageby cainnComment: The one thing I have noticed about these type of shots (Steven Spielburgish, Low angle, shooting high) is that most of them are never level. Always a tilt one way or the other. Yours tilts to the right.
While everyone knows the "four corners" are N, S, E, W, the vane obliterated N and E.
I took this picture while waiting for my daughter to get of the bus.
So you have time to study on how to get all of the elements lined up where everything is just right.
The mood of the picture is great. The darkening clouds and the silhouette of the vane just emphasizes the coming storm.
And lastly, the Challenge you entered this photo in, Garage Art, does not fit the theme. It said "Created IN, not sitting ON.

Koby dsrayComment: Good idea, but, IMO, some cropping is in order. Just some off of the top. |
