Great composition with the repeating motif.....the lighting is a bit watery and flat...maybe I'm too used to DPC dodge and burn!

I think this might have had more impact if you had zoomed in on their meeting gazes which is the great thing about this pic.....at the moment my eyes are pulled away to the raised hand.

Trying to work out why this didn't really click with me.....perhaps it is the distance between you and the subject...not close enough for the man's features to tell a story or not far enough away to portray his isolation. Admirable intentions, though.

Great shot but wonder if you missed a trick by not making the buildings and the mountain backdrop the 'subject' of the photograph, as the sea and boat don't really add to the overall mood.
