Thanks! Yea, it's weird and random, but apparently it did "fly" well with the voting. Oh well... |

Thanks for commenting Penny. What do you mean "overdone sort of... "? I'd like to know what you see. Thanks again. |

What Is This?by bside123Comment: Originally posted by willem: These are usually very slow moving and offer plenty of opportunity for a good picture. Maybe should have waited for a better moment? |
Thanks for your comment. Perhaps the image didn't translate well with the current Animal Challenge. For me, the photo represents an evolutionary transition for the Orangutan. He's not simply an "animal." He is displaying an action of "consciousness"
and awareness by peering into his hand... in very human way. I wasn't looking for a better moment, as I thought that this one was priceless.
BTW, as an exhibition piece, I've sold at least a handful (no pun intended) of these prints. Nonetheless, I am always appreciative of comments as well as how other people see their photographic work. Best regards and thanks again. |

Misty Morning Fieldby bside123Comment: Originally posted by mariuca: Oh, and I see that you shoot with Fuji and with a 35 mm lens. I have the lighter weight one and am thrilled with it. What a sensor!
Your pp, if any, was perfect. A splendid image. I voted a few seconds from midnight here and did not have time to go over and bump to 10 |
Yes, I shoot with both Fuji and Sony. I really like the Fuji X series and have the original X100, the X100F and the X-T3. Easy and great carry around cameras. Beautiful colors and good film simulations!
My Sony is the A99ii, an A-Mount Full Frame, with big lenses. A very good camera, but a different beast altogether.
Thank you for looking, and thanks for the comments. |
