Nice snapshot, but for me, if I am looking at a drummer I want to be looking at a DRUMMER! Banging his sticks down so hard they may snap at any moment. Moving to the beat, the emotion in the face. I want something hard core. Yet for me, its just some guy in a quilt holding some sticks. At first look I questioned if he was cleaning his ears. Its a nice snapshot and a good memory for you but for me, it is not.

Nice vivid image. The colours work well. The blacks could be pushed just a bit more on parts of the trees. I would hope the people were a bit more in focus to create stronger clarity. But overall it is a nice image, just a bit disconnected for me.

Purple Delight

This is a nice idea. Though for me, it just does not look right, and there is a strange cloud or smudge in the sky. It is a bit distracting. So the water appears more smooth then it should I am guessing because of the length of exposure. It makes the bridge appear a bit blurred. On the far side the buildings look more in focus but they are part of the background so my eyes are conflicted.

Hmm, I have been looking at this image for a while now and I am not quite sure. Perhaps for me it is a bit dark on the shadow side and I am wanting something more to pop for me with all those wonderful textures. Perhaps I am wanting something more in the sky, it seems a bit bland as compared to the rest. I do enjoy the reflection of orange going between those croppings just not in the center of the image.

Interesting landscape. I personally do not much care for the processing. It appears a bit blurred to me around the trees. The sky although has potential appears forgotten and the depth is not there. Overall it is ok, but simply does not wow me.

Lovely macro though the flower appears very strange looking. Almost plastic but very fake. The critter is interesting I just wish he was facing the other direction and gave us something more interesting to look at then a boring brown exoskeleton.

Very cute family portrait. Though all of the skin appears overly smoothed with strange reflections in the eyes that kinda creep me out. Like I said though, it is cute, but for me it just does not wow me. I would hope for something more.

Interesting capture. It takes a few moments to really stare at this image to identify what it is. It is easy to confuse the figure on the right to be a primate of sorts because the coat moves around the chin in a way that could be a mouth. For me however it is an ok image. The clarity and lighting are much better on the figure on the left. But in the same basket I am assuming that this was at the zoo and through glass so not much control over lighting of the figure on the right.

The sun's brightness completely blows out any detail that would give this piece interest. There really is not anything here that I can say about it. The outline's appear to be in focus but could be misleading because of the smoke/smog/cloud/haze or whatever is there.

I was going to say this is a nice clear image then I saw the red/blue noise in the sand and on the rock followed by the yellow noise in the water. For me its a bit distracting. I would say to make this less distracting crop it off just above the stone/rock/formation on the left hand side just above center. Crop that off completely and only keep the top. The soft pastel sky is nice and the silhouette of the structure is ice. But the water on beach and such is not.
