I enjoy how dark the buildings are in this skyline. Though I would liked to have seen something a bit more vivid and dramatic with the colour of the sky and clouds. Also for me the foreground holds no interest and in my opinion no added value, it may even take way from the actual skyline.

Lovely cute portrait. I am positive the parents are ecstatic over it. However for me, it just doesn't do it. it is a common style and offers me no added interest. The clarity and focal range is nice but I feel could be moved forward more. It is almost lost on the far side which we barely see. The tonal quality is nice but perhaps could be pushed a bit more.

This is a fun find. However the black/white treatment does it no justice. For me I want to see the bright and fading oranges of the pumpkins. Because we could look at this and not all identify they are pumpkins. If there was colour here and less noise I think this could be a funner image. But overall does not really have a lot of interest.

Nice find of lights. However for me it seems very busy and bare. There is too much white-space in my opinion which makes the image bare, but busy because the lights are only against the single plane. I believe if you concentrated your shot to a more narrow and specific element it would have been much stronger overall.

Nice candid portrait. The clarity is nice and the background breaks off lovely. Maybe a bit sharp seeing on how his right side is blurred but still kinda works. The colours are nice and natural. However if he is out playing in the snow I would have much rather seen a nice dramatic action shot with this colour and clarity then a simple portrait. However it is still nice.

He is very clear and strong in this image. She seems less strong an a bit hidden. Could be the fact that so much of him is seen to the little bit of her. Its a cute lovely image, but it also looks like she is looking at the brim of his hate. Barely able to skim the eyes. The background is nice, it looks good, and the separation is nice. Just for me it does not have a strong wow factor. Anyone outside their friends and family i do not think will hold this image as high.

Interesting snapshot. The darkened foreground gives an ominous feel as if she walks down this way bad things would happen. However overall it feels more like a snapshot then anything. It really does not give me a morning walk feel.

Cute portrait, the selective saturation is something I have done several times with my own self-portraits. However for me here it feels as if the whites may have been pushed a tad too far and are blown. Or maybe my monitor is overly bright. It is simple, its cute. But for me it just is not very poppy. No real wow factor for me.

This is a fairly nice image. The contrasts of the trees and snow works fairly well in the branches. However the pagoda/steamroom or whatever it is feels completely out of place it does not connect to me strong as I would have liked. Also there is a odd angle towards the foreground ground that gives me a varied feel of perspective.

The dof is way to far back, I see the background in focus but not the two horses. There is so much texture and personality and character possible within this image I just wish it was brought out a bit stronger.
