Parentingby sagestudioComment: this is such an incredible shot!
the feet are a little odd, but only catch my attention after studying the picture long enough - maybe could have been blurred more to detract my attention from them. They almost look fake. But I still gladly give you a 9! |

BBC Top Gearby redmoonComment: I love this car! probably my favorite!
The picture just feels like it is lacking something though. The car doesn't stand out enough from the background or something. |

Native Plantsby GordonComment: This is an excellent picture! But I feel like the title collides with the presence of the hummingbird. The hummingbird is the subject to my eye. I would give a 10 with a better title - but this is still a well deserved 9(IMO). Good luck! |

David and Goliathby zeuszenComment: I think that the picture would have been better minus the human element. Great Waterfall! The person definitely gives a better idea of how big it really is though. But, to me, the size of the waterfall is irrelevant as it is a truly magnificent one. |

An In Depth View of Pecos Wildernessby brett2004Comment: BTW, the compass is not the subject. The topographic "Truchas Peak" is the subject. My only issue is I took this fast and left the shadow over it. I guess most people misunderstood. Oh well, it seems to be a usual thing. |

Shallow Reachby eaphelpsComment: I really cannot justify how your picture fits the challenge. The arm is in focus from top to bottom. I can't really find much interest here either. Nothing holds my eye. I think if the fingers were the only thing in focus and there was a little more light accentuating the hand, it would like much better. Good luck |

Lazy Susanby Crafty SueComment: Where is the shallow DOF? The entire picture is in focus. Could have used a better light source to add interest, and the background is distracting. I see no way this picture conforms to the challenge. |

Lonelyby loboz33Comment: Beautiful picture, but I see absolutely nothing to do with SHALLOW DOF. Everything looks like a soft focus to me. I think the border could have been a little more subtle as well. But I see no way that this picture fits the challenge. |
