Extra Light For A Cloudy Dayby frychiknComment: Very nice impressive photograph. I gave it a 7. Would have been higher if you had a tighter crop and the photographer was not visible. |

Does anyone care that it's raining out here?by admart01Comment: Yay Theresa!! Top 10 finish!
As an avid Aussie fan this dog always takes top honors from me. From my experience with Aussies the expression of this dog says nothing less than extreme intelligiance. This is not only a fun dog to photograph, it's a great dog to have as a companion and a loyal friend. |

Fire Powerby spydrComment: You have a nice photograph here. It could use some adjustment to Levels, mainly the midtones which will really bring out the reflection of the flag. USM could make it quite a bit sharper also. |

Into The Nightby garrywhite2Comment: This was my feeble attempt to experiment with Hedgecoe's "Using Candlelight". My original plan was to illuminate only the face. Everything else is covered with garments. That's where things start to go wrong. I adjusted the brightness/contrast until I could see only trace outlines of the garments. I didn't pay enough attention to others (including my other monitors ) that may not be able to calibrate their monitors to view the picture as I was seeing it.
Add some cropping issues and likely an uninteresting picture to most people and the result seems predictable.
Overall I'm happy with the picture. I did what I set out to do and learned a lot from the experience.
Thanks to all. |
