Whoops ! Missed the first timeby sharkavComment: This is a great concept. It's a shame it's so blurry and grainy. I'm wondernig if it was a much larger picture and you cropped it - I only say that because of the blur. Also, you may want to experiment a bit with your camera's white balance. The face is quite abnormally orange. Sometimes you can change it on your camera to say indoors, flourescent light, outdoors on a cloudy day, etc. |

first light by whiteroomComment: If this doesn't ribbon I'll be so surprised. I love that this is more than just a silhouette - the backlighting is supurb. It almost looks like molten lava kicking up from behind. Wonderful action shot. I hope you decide to sell it to an agency or somethign when the contest is over. 10 |

At Last Light by PedroComment: This is a truly exciting and dramatic shot. I love the sepia-type tone to it - wonderful composition. Love the way the eye is led by the lines of the horses. Perfection 10 I'd predit this will be one of the three ribbons. |

Dusk over the Cityby TallblokeComment: This is a really nice setting - I love the contrast between the industrial, nature and residential. This looks very much like a place called The Gorge where I live in Victoria, B.C - and I always find it a dramatic place to shoot in the early morning and sunset. Good luck with this one. |

I Dream of Eternal Spring by ccraftComment: Thanks again for all your great feedback and votes. Just posting the lens again (I posted earlier but it's a little further down). I use the Nikkor 10.5mm 2.8 fisheye and I have a Nikon D70. I've had some great results with it so far and it's always in my camera bag. I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in a fisheye. |

I Dream of Eternal Spring by ccraftComment: Thanks so much for your comments and votes. This ribbon is very exciting for me. I was using a Nikon D70 with a Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens. I set it up on a tripod and turned on the timer and then layed down in the flowers, less than a foot from the camera and this is the effect I got. It was a beautiful day and I thought about this challenge as soon as I saw the meadow. |
