first thought was that the desat doesnt work, but actually you've caught the moment perfectly and the desat really picks that up. the more i look at it the more i love that posture... can't vote, but it would have been pretty high from me.

i like the original selective desat effect. maybe unconventional (used to seeing only one element highlighted), but very effective

can't vote, but i have to say my legoman in the everyday challenge got hammered, when i didnt think it was too bad, so it'll be interesting to see how you do. having said that, its more original than bugs.
