Sunny novemberby ELLIPSComment: is it just me or do i keep seeing side effects of image sharpening? Look at the figure of person standing far right. Has a bright halo around. If you removed him, would there be one of those white outlines you see in a murder scene, you know the police draw on the ground where the body was found? Nice the way the brown foliage is partly reflected by the water surface. (A great use for a polarising filter on the camera lens, so can fine tune the amount of reflection.) |

Smooth flowby gpureticComment: another one with dry ice dumped upstream again? I like the contrastng colours on the rocks. the sharpening effect (too much maybe) has adversely affected the sense of depth a bit, look at the top of the picture, the left rock's right edge against the water flow. A touch of softening brush would fix it, but I think that may be against the editing rules? I find with sharpening effect, that it's best to sleep on it and look again the next day before committing yourself to it. |

An IR Autumnby signal2noiseComment: Nope, I can't see any autumn colours at all. Maybe it's because I'm not wearing IR-vision glasses? Do you need them, like you do for 3-D? |

Silver Autumnby fpalumboComment: i can't seem to see any autumn colours here no matter how hard I try, maybe I just have no imagination at all... I think it would look more silver if it was not sharpened so much in post. nice composition |
