On the Landby BrianRComment: There is a lot of CA here. The top of trees are all devasted by this. Using an alternative angle or correcting in PS you will get a more interesting result. |

The Leaning Tower of Justiceby JammurComment: Very nice and rare colors! I like it very much. You catch a large tonal and dynamic range. Very well done. I fell better when I can say good thing to an image more than bad ones. Besides you left the sun very hiden. |

Don't Stare at the Sunby iskowjenComment: Wow! Sorry but it's to bad! A very small crop that don't says anything. It's sun's picture only. Not a picture with the sun. It seems to be a wrong submission! |

Lighthouse sunsetby KrisbyComment: This picture has a great scene. But... It's very recurrent theme. It's seem to be pushed or taken with high iso too due to hard grain. Is a beautifull scene at all, but is not an astonishing one! |

The sun on a cloudy day.by ladpupmoeComment: B&W and the sun is hard thing to do. Some people gets it very weel. But many tries out with failing results. To do this is need reaaly to astonish the observer with more tham simple elements, like a skyline and the sun.
Let's think:
1 - Sun in B&W is only a white circle.
2 - The great colors os sky are surpassed to greyscale
3 - the scene is a lot of inclination that show disattention to details, and to do B&W the details are the key.
Think in B&W as a very great show of multiples constrastant elements. Replace colors by the delight of tones. How more hard/soft tones you catch in one scene great will be the result. |
