Great capture. Too much centered composition and oversharpened. Perhaps re-editing with a different crop and not over-usm nd it could be a great image.

The image is out of focus. and I don't think an artificial triangle border that frame the subject could do the trick for this challenge. I'd like better to have a triangle in the shots instead of a triangle around it. (2)

The image is tilted. The idea is good and we photographer should have thought of it first time. (I personnally have my tripod in front of me on my desk all the tiem and never saw a damn triangle on this thing!) If you were ever to reshoot this, I'd suggest that you fill a whole 3rd of your image with the triangle part of the tripod in close-up and fill the rest with a blurry background, and no flash.

Interesting idea. I would think that the light would be at least dimmed a lot if I were to answer the phone at that time. Perhaps candle lighting would have been better to give the feeling of late night.
