A Bunch of Clowns at the Wheelby Brazen AngelComment: vey humourous, these must be the sadest bunch of clowns I've ever seen, they must have shares in America. Obviously it's not the sharpest image in the world which is probably due to compression rather than focus. deserves good points for the idea though (which one is George Bush?) |

Sales Pitchby ClubJuggleComment: There's some useful information in there somewhere - oh yes, there it is - the time. This is a great illustration of how over commercialised sport can be, I am sooooo glad the UK hasn't sunk this low yet. |

Old Time Economyby BobComment: Nice idea. Unfortunatly the bright sun in the lens makes it all very flat and uncontrasty (if thats a word) |

A Discounted Lifeby JakComment: I don't care for the way the image is leaning over to the right, if the vertical lines were actually vertical I think it would look much better IMHO. There is a slight fuzziness to the pic which is not caused by focus problem but by JPEG over compression of the image which causes the unsharp look on the shopping trolley and window bars. The tell tale patterns of this are evident around those black patches on the white pillar to the right of the image if you zoom to 200 - 300 % You may well understand this already but otherwise check out this link which is also in DPC's tutorials section //www.photoblink.com/info.asp?Article=articles/JPEG.xml apart from all that though it's a good subject for the challenge and well exposed |

Front Page News, But There's a Silver Lining in Every Dark Cloudby wenyaoComment: Hmmm I'm not sure about this one. I don't think I like the black areas bottom right and top left. It's not a bad idea and I like the geyscale and the graininess, it makes the whole thing look a little sordid and dirty which I suppose it should. See how I like it next time I guess. |

Laid off.by myqylComment: Not suprised he got laid off if he wore those ties to work. WOW. I thought this type of office only existed in cartoons and laboratories (for the mice). Well taken, nice idea, excellent lighting and exposure. Hey you have the same phone as me! |

Got Money?by MeggieComment: Hoestly! the things people have in their cupboards at home. Wher did you get that mug. Seems like coffee mugs are in this week, at least this one is stuffed with cash to make it interesting. The subject is well lit and well exposed. I was curious so I took a look at it in Photoshop and gave it a little sharpening treatment which worked nicely, at the moment the logo looks a little fuzzy. I would also like the side of the mug to run parallell wuth the side of the image otherwise it looks like it's falling over a bit. |

Dollars and... Poundsby bdshortComment: It's a pity you didn't get two "fresh from the mint" British notes to go with your crisp dollar bill. The folds down both notes spoil the lines. maybe you could have ironed them. The colours look a bit odd also and it is generally dark. There is a lot of room for movement a the bottom end of the level histogram to bring some light and life into this. |

ENRON HQ - address pending...by clickerComment: Very nicely done, lovely colours and well exposed. Perfect lighting. Maybe you wer trying to give the impression of a big dark open space surrounding the tent otherwise I might have been tempted to crop a bit from top , left and bottom. Not a big issue though and I like it the way it is. |
