Since the crop is this tight - I wonder if it should have been even tighter. Also, a different angle than straight on might have given this an interesting twist. Crisp and clear photo.

Nice - appropriate exposure. I wonder if you should have cropped a bit more of the tree and rotated few degrees clocwise.

Hmm... did you do this? Or did you come across this fly "by accident"... Nice photo though, those curves in the background do the trick.

Good subject, excellent timing. I wonder if a tighter crop would have worked better, a least I think you should have cropped this "thing" on the ground.

Those "sterile" type photos usually do not appeal to me but this simple idea is perfectly executed. I give this an 8 although I would definately not want this on my wall - but that is just a matter of taste ;) I hope you watch made it!

I am not sure what you're trying to achive, I must say... Do those things (rings?) in upper left corner play a role? If so, why are the cropped and so much out of focus, if not why are they there? Actually this gives my an idea though, wedding rings in the upper right corner, in focus, with the digital alarm fading out bootom right - this could have worked.

I do share your joy and this is photo has a lot to give. I can almost feel the fun you had. But the connection to the challege is a bit far-fetched. I rate this a 7 - is the challenge had been "fun" or "good time" you would get a 10.

I shall admit that studio setups often do not appeal to me as much as real-life photos. But when there is a studio setup, you get more critical about details and the reflections in the hourglass bother me, I must say. As soon as you see this photo you try to figure out the reflections and the beuty of the "big picture" is kind of lost. Do not take me too seriously though, I'm rating this at 7 ;)

In my oppinion the crop is to tight but I guess there is a reason. How worn out the meter is makes this photo work, it gives the "time expired" a deeper meaning. Good idea but nothing fascinating about the execution or setup (e.g. the busy background, the shadow on the left and reflection on glass). I however often like those point&shoot's better than studio set-ups. A polarizer might have done the trick though.
