Swirlby glodaComment: The colors seem a bit muddy; if that makes any sense... But I like the shot. |

Greetings from Switzerland !by Noel_ZHComment: What an amazing shot! This pic really makes me miss Europe. I went to a boarding school in Southern Germany, and visited this castle several times... |

Busted!!!by LalliSigComment: I almost fell out of my chair the first time I saw this one. I love the expression that you captured. It gives life to capture. |

trash artby annahComment: I'll be looking for this one on the front page. I'm not really sure what about this shot speaks to me, but it does. |

Gaboon Viperby ArpeggioAngelComment: I just saw this picture. It's interesting. Having the snake face away from the camera does two things for me. First it makes me feel less threatened (not that I have any problems with snakes.. =]) and Second, it makes me wonder what, if anything, it's looking at. It adds a bit of intrigue, you might say. |

camelby ArpeggioAngelComment: This one is a little too head on for my taste. A foot or two in any direction would have given more depth to the shot. This one feels a bit distorted; you can't really get a feel for how far it is from the tip of the nose to the eyes... |

Baby Giraffeby ArpeggioAngelComment: I like this shot a lot. The neck and turned head create really nice lines through the image.
As far as the composition, I think that it would work better to have the the giraffe farther to the right in the frame, so that it wasn't looking out of the frame. Everything just 'feels' tilted to the left at the moment.
The tones seem a bit muted, but I'm guessing they are true to what you saw at the zoo. I'd be tempted to bump the sat/cont up a bit to see what that did the the image... Just a thought! =]
You've really got some great shots here. Keep up the great work! |

jaguarby ArpeggioAngelComment: Another great cat shot. This moment you've catured is much more intimidating that some of the other shots you've gotten. This shot gives me a strong feeling that I wouldn't want to meet this guy in the wild. Good job capturing that!
I like the processing here as well. The tones are deep but defined. |
