We have Lift Off!by SteveinnzComment: Wow, what a great capture. I love the symmetry.
I wish the background wasn't so cluttered though. It distracts a LOT from the awesome dolphins. I would have used a much wider apeture. You could have also reduced the distraction in this image in photoshop by burning and blurring just the background. That would have been legal in advanced editing. |

Wind, Snow, Mountainsby DudskiComment: Oh my! I love the light here. This is a fantastic landscape picture, especially because it depicts something that is rarely seen in photographs (or at least not well since its usually to dark). Fantastic job! |

Crossroadsby prperoldComment: Lovely. I love the way the sun hits the moss on that rock. I probably would have opted for a slightly lower perspective in order to bring more emphasis to that. |

Reflections by JonoTuckerComment: Sometimes rules are there to be broken. But in this case, I really think that the traditional Rule of Thirds (with the horizon being on the top thirds line) would have given this picture more of an edge than the current centered composition does. Its a very pretty landscape and I love the reflections, I just feel it could be even better with a more compelling composition. 6 |

Alyssa Liesby MinsoPhotoComment: A powerful photo that has me wanting to vote low by the mere fact that I hate what it depicts. And yet, this is a feeling you created intentionally and powerfully, and that should be rewarded.
This scares the bejeesus out of me and I hope that it is absolutely not common place in your family, though I know it is in some. If a family does this, can it still be considered a family?
Anyways, an 8 from me because you have absolutely succeeded in what you set up to do in telling a powerful story. I still don't like the photo though :-P |
