Amanda by shankswareComment: Besides her being beautiful and "glamourous", I like the lighting, the offset, rule of thirds use, and I even like the blurred background! I don't know why I like the background but it just gives you something there, sort of pointing out her beauty vs. it's Not! Just my thoughts!
thanks for showing us, and I am not a glamour kind of shooter so take it with a grain of salt! |

Graffiti Cityby EgillPComment: Well this definitely is grunge! I am glad you shared it with us, but I am not sure how I feel about the photo...? don't get mad at me, I just don't know if I want to look at that subject matter; but in the end you did what what asked of the challenge!
I am looking at the elements of it, but hard to discuss, sorry.
Thanks for showing it to us! |

Dare to Drinkby dirtythermosComment: You hit it I think here. No, I don't want to drink that water!
the contrast of the glistening water (very nice!) with the grungy container makes for a "no thank you" on the water, but a yes on the photo!..:) |

African Hoopoeby sulamkComment: Hi,
Thanks for this very interesting bird to all of us on the other side of the pond, as we say. You probably had to shoot quickly, but if not, I agree about the tighter crop and sharper focus. He is so interesting that the grass gives interest but should still be "blurred" out a little.
But hey thanks again for letting us see this amazing bird! |

Insight by KarenNfldComment: Congratulations, and gorgeous, as well as creative work. The background flower made for a great backdrop to this!

Tiny Fingersby ButterflyGirlComment: I think everyone is going to love this, I do!
The texture of each persons's skin add to it. Alsojust the personal aspect as people relate to maybe a father or grandfather and baby! Nice work1 |

Meet My Mini Meby karenkComment: What I like about this photo is that "Mini Me" looks like she is more than willing to do anything you ask her too!..:)
More seriously I really like your creativity, just the fact that you have a different color blouse/top (we men don't know about these names!:) )is an important thing to me in the believability if that's a word, of the photo. POV, DOF good. You might want to watch your horizon line. I know because it almost always get me and others have helped me with it. |

Strive to Reach the Unreachableby darnokComment: I really like this! The darkness, and the man up to at a point that took effort. The light seems to signify hope when it was dark around him. (sorry I guess I am interpreting it) Great title and byline.
Anyway the positioning of the model, the dark from foreground to background interspersed with beautiful lighting and great colors is excellent in my opinion!
Your smooth sea/sand almost very eye appealing. Way to go! |

Behind the Boathouseby DistantColoursComment: I didn't see any comments on it so I will make it:
Besides the great boathouse with colors and light, one of the subtle buy I think a very important part of this photo is the foreground.
The tall grass in the foreground is kind of like that great little extra, very nice!
Of course the whole thing is very nice! I agree with "Teafran" esp. the white light almost overdone, but a real eye catcher of a photo..great work!!
