going for the killby Jesse_JamesComment: Hello again,
I know about the focus lag. My experience with a Canon EOD300D tells me two things:
A) It focus faster
B) It wouldn't save you on this one (ooppps... I'm going to get rammed here)
I would use single-auto-focus on the hand and then press the focus button and change to manual to lock it there. Works for me. |

Slippery by TechnoShroomComment: Would like it better with a car in the photo. Almost perfect. Still, the best in the challenge, second to my Giant Lollipop, of course :)
I give you 9. I will change it to a 10 if you can add the car before the voting ends... |

This year I'll quit smoking or die!by bcvieiraComment: Hello everyone! Thanks for your votes.
Yes, I also expected the photo to finish better: the commenters had an average of 7.2 but the general voting was 5.4.
Actualy this was not my first choice, but all other takes turned out worst soo I submited this one. I knew I had a photo on the top 50% before submitting, but after reading the coments, was building a hope to place among all the other "quit smoking"s. Such is life.
Oh well, off to the next challenge we go... |

Escher's Point of Viewby linoserranoComment: Nice one. I really like M.C. Escher's work. I think you should have hold in your hand like the original litography, but then again, this one looks great.
As a side coment: you probably know it allready, but from a couple of shots like this, with a good globe and proper technic, you can capture a full spherical panorama (360º and all the way up and down).
As an example I made this small view into your living room: //217.129.14.92/qtvr26/qtvr76.html
Or you can take a look at mine, done under controlled conditions with 2 shots and the fotographer removed from the final shot.
//217.129.14.92/qtvr21/qtvr.html
Anyway, great interpretation of the challenge. Nice picture. Good luck.

I will no longer fear the future nor will I regret the past by byshenComment: This is probably the winner, but I find the display on the top to be a bit distracting. Hope that it has something to do with the picture and doesn\'t turn out to be just a bit of uncropped image.
... and really would like to know how it was done. Bravo! |

More Runningby ZoomdakComment: Nice. I would try and crop a bit on the bottom. And get the horizon straight. |
