It's almost like an impressionist painting... not altogether unpleasant. The composition is nice, but the building in the background is distracting. |

Just Dandy!by buzzrockComment: I think the central composition here is a little bit boring. If it was closer cropped, it would make more of the explosion of petals, but all the busy green background diminishes that effect. |

Nightime Hedgesby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: This is not an aesthetically pleasing photograph. The hedge doesn't provide a subject for the photo, as it is just a mass of green leaves. The fence leads your eyes away from the hedge and out to the side. The lighting is harsh, and feels like you used the flash. There is nothing really there for it to illuminate. |

Redby lizardbethComment: Nice composition. The way the stems curve is very effective, a lot more interesting than some of the straight up and down shots I've seen. I get a bit put off by the green stems on a green grass background though. It brings out the red of the petals well, but it doesn't feel asthetically pleasing. |
