It's an interesting photo in terms of composition, especially with the way the foot is positioned and the expression on the man's face makes it seem like he's about to stomp, however there isn't much about the subject matter, lighting, colours, etc. that make me want to look at it for very long.

Hmm... I think it could do with more contrast... but even then the subject matter isn't very interesting or captured in a unique way :/

Garden of Tulips

I think the dimness of the lighting and colours detract from this photo and make it flat. The flowers are almost seen in silhouette, but tulips in profile aren't all that interesting, especially set off against such a dim sky.

Great! The lighting and colours are vibrant, the puffy clouds set off the flowers perfectly. The semi-transparent, overlapping petals are very pretty. I think the only problem is that it's a little bit too contrasty and sharp, which gives it an edge that detracts from the gentle nature of the subject matter and makes me feel like I need sunglasses...
