The Truth Is Under Thereby posthumousComment: The relationship to the challenge topic is severely understated, and the bilk of the image is dedicated to uninteresting visual noise. Is this guy trying to find Chit's rake? |

Where the Sidewalk Endsby tateComment: The light makes the guy & umbrella look flat and artificial. The footsteps and misty horizon are a nice touch. |

A Brave New Worldby unicumComment: This seems more novel than genuinely interesting. I think that you could have found a more interesting subject to shoot with this filter. |

Make Par (still over 100)by tjmuellerComment: I realize that it's winter in the northern hemisphere, but this would have been a lot more appealing if the grass were green. It might take a few passes, but I suspect that you could shift the hue of the grass to make it appear to be a healthy summer green. |

The Ghost Forestby davehoggComment: The very low contrast makes your image rather flat; without a clear subject (e.g. a figure in the trees) this image doesn't seem to have much to look at. |

Free Money (FedEx Fantasy)by permapierComment: The FedEx box in the background seems like a needless distraction. I think that the fantasy you've depicted will resonate with virtually everyone, but the execution is rather unremarkable. Changing the angle, light, etc could have produced a better image. |

Fntacy or Faith?by FalcComment: The vignetting and shadowed eye sockets are distracting. Placing something light colored just below the camera would help to bounce light back onto his face, which would help the latter problem. The image would be more appealing if it weren't so heavily sharpened. The relationship of the image to the challenge topic feels rather forced. |

Anywhere But Hereby JutildaComment: The strong shadows are distracting. Moving your model farther from the backdrop would have helped to reduce the impact of the photos on the final image. |

Oh, the pics I would take if I were invisible...by notesinstonesComment: The color cast is somewhat distracting - it's too white to feel like a faded or antique photo, and too far off white to feel properly white balanced. I like the concept, but the flowers and the stool make this feel a lot cheesier than it would if it were taken with a shallow DoF outside with a blurry environmental scene as the backdrop. |
