The date in the bottom corner and the hanging thing by the window are distracting. The color cast does a good job of creating a feeling of atmosphere.

I love the shadows the blinds cast on the leaves. Seeing steam rising from the cup would have been a nice touch.

The shadow is very well done. A catchlight in the surface of the coffee would have been nice. The faint color shadows along the bottom edge are a little distracting. Since they seem to be mostly green/yellow you might have been able to remove them with selective desaturation.

Something about this scene makes everything (particularly the plant) look fake. Too much sharpening &/or NeatImage, perhaps? Aside from looking artificial, I really like the composition of this shot; the only thing I think I'd change would be to make the distance between the edges of the frame and the subjects (particularly reed and the bottom corner of the trey) more even.

I really like the balance and textures in this shot. The only thing I'd change would be to remove whatever that is peeking in the frame at 12 o'clock. This is one of my top picks for a ribbon in this challenge.

The relationship between the subject of this image and the challenge topic seems very tenuous at best. The image is rather novel though, and the shot is reasonably well executed.

I don't care for the border, and the speck at 3 o'clock is distracting. The brown color cast accentuates the theme of the image. The contrast between the palate of the subject and the blue reflection feels somewhat odd. You may wish to check out this tutorial for info on removing or shifting the blue to a warmer color.

Did the coffee grounds intended for the left cup revolt? What's with the debris on the otherwise white background? "Casualties of Coffeehouse Warfare" does make a catchy title though.

The DoF is okay, but I suspect that the woodgrain in front of the cup wasn't the intended subject. Moving the point of optical focus to the intended subject would improve this image.
