If you're going off center, go all the way! Crop the left more so that it looks intentional instead of just sloppy. A close-up of the panels or more dramatic lighting might have made for a more interesting photo.

Like the idea, but the way the car window is only slightly framing it does not work for me. I think if the cars window frame were either more obvious or not in the picture it would have come off better for me.

Shallow depth of filed gives a nice blur to the decorative lights. Black and white works well in demonstrating the non-festive aspect of desire for money. The plant pot and the spangles on the Santa hat jumble up the image to my eye. Having only the spherical ornament and placing the cloth skirt over the edge of the pot might be useful simplifications.
