some of the most excellent images cop really bad scores ..
the voters are often big on things like rule of thirds, forgetting sometimes that not following the rules can often be a better option .. great if they followed their hearts more than their minds sometimes ..

Light is nice and that's an interesting place for a dog to perch. In the interest of emphasizing the dog I'd probably crop out most of the right side of the image and burn what was left of the red into the background.
