More a image of lighting than a creative use of lighting. It's hard to rate this because of it's nature. It might have been a better approach to find a subject and then use the lighting to create the image rather than of the light itself.

Thank you for all of the comments! Unfortunately, I decided to submit this photo at the last minute while I was on the way out the door to go to work. I basically just slapped a border on there and accidentally did a low quality RAW-JPEG conversion. This is probably why the image looks a little pixelated or out of focus.

Either way, my goal for this was to get a 5.0 or better, so I'm happy with the results.

I recognize this one! :) I'll say before what I said in the forums, I think the shot is trying to do too much. The guards with their flags is one shot, the majesty of the architecture is another. I can't remember who you are, but I remember that you loved this shot anyway, so while I'd give this a 6 ordinarily I'm bumping to a 7 because I admire that you stuck to your guns and submitted it.
