This would score higher by doing two things. First, take advantage of the size rules, up to 800 pixels per side. (This small crop is up against some big images by comparison!) Second, this capture would benefit from better color separation. Meaning, get some black and white pixels in the image through post processing. That helps a shot like this pop more! This is a nice close up, and has potential! Feel free to PM me.

I think that's actually a cricket, antennae look too long to be a grasshopper although it's hard to tell as they're cropped.

Nice idea. Maybe coulda cropped it a little tighter but that's just a personal opinion.
