Hmm, doesn't look to peaceful- it looks like a storm is coming. Not enough info here to tell what I'm looking at. Sorry, just doesn't wow me.

Really like the negative space here - great comp. Could do without the people but otherwise an effective shot.

While it's candid for sure, there doesn't seem to be any point to the photo. Your title attempts to give it focus, but it's not enough, IMO

Nice photo but I find eyes wandering for a subject, I tend to be drawn to the display above the ceiling rather than the people at the right of the counter.

Variety in midtones seems slightly lacking, but not flat by any means. I like the diagonal and the level of the camera was perfectly placed to minimize problems on the top lines. All elements of this shot are in good focus which is very important to tie into the title.

The two most disrupting elements of the shot however are the overexposed lights in the pyro cases and the shadowy clothing of the male subject. He being half of the candid (title) should have more contrast and depth of detail. The far end of the counter is distrupted by an unfortunate passerby, but to have cropped him would have hurt the blance of the lines and diagonals in the upper roofing. An average shot that would do 1-2 points better with a wider variety of tones and some selective burning down of the lights. 5

now that's a resolution that you can actually make and keep!
the lighting on the lamp is such that i can't tell if the bright lines are reflections, or they are the edges of a cut-off base. interesting.
