Self Portrait in the Eyes of Harleyby YourElementComment by RyanW: overall find this a bit distracting of an image; but given the nature of the challenge, it's not just about taking a picture of yourself for modeling headshots, but a picture of who you are, and this is who you are (from this image) to me, so it's hard to fault you for being yourself. |

In His Tracksby YourElementComment by wyverndragon: Beautifully executed. I just feel it's too direct, too much a posed model shot. Nixter I think does a lot of candid, journalistic, participant observer, stuff.
I love your control of shadow tones, very precise. I would suggest in post lightening the shadows in some regions and letting them chunk up in others. I think Nixter does that sometimes, to help add weight to the main subject and let the rest of the background fade away. |
