Very interesting shot...I gave you an 8 because it was slightly not in focus...the picture doesn't "pop". You could also improve this composition by putting the black swirl in the white stripe and the white swirl in the black. Watch out for those hotspots!! You should do well in this particular bunch of pictures.

Nice idea, but sorry I dont think this is a pure black and white picture, not even greayscale. I see shades of yellow and tan.

I gave you a really low score for this photo, sorry. This is mainly because the image was shot in colour rather than black and white, and also because the focus looks slightly soft. Just thought I'd take the time to explain.

Actually I've come back to increase the score slightly, because the setup is quite clever, and I didn't give you adequate credit for that.
