Hmmm ... Not sure how to vote. I think there would have been more impact to a shot that was entirely filled with buildings - though i can appreciate the thinking behind including streets, trees and a famous building.

In general, I like this photo. The wind is at the heron's (?) back and shows up in the details of it's head. The color seems very nice. I see quite a bit of grain in the background...was that on purpose? Also, the sky seems bright (mid-day) but the horizon is dusky colored - I'm confused...what time of day was this?

I think that this photo would look more interesting if the guy who is comming down the stairs was closer to the camera, maybe even really close...otherwise a good idea and I love the lighting and color
