I have two comments, I think recomposing the picture to the rule of thirds, especially to remove the background wall would help to improve the picture.
Also trying to decrease the depth of field to blur the tree a little more would be nice.

Welcome to DPC! A decent idea with a good title. Brightening the shot a bit and bumping up to 150k as Yospiff mentioned below would have taken this shot up into the 5's in my opinion. DPC is a fun place to play and learn. Don't let the 4 scores get ya down. It won't be long and you'll be scoring higher!

Your file size is a lot smaller than was allowed. It's only 34k and you could have used up to 150k for this challenge. You have lost some clarity and detail to JPEG compression. It is really visible around the edges of the spots and some other high contrast edges. Check the JPEG compression settings in your image editor and always try to save as close to the limit for a challenge as you can get it without going over.
