more could've been done with these stacks of pennies, ie lined them up to create some perspective. A little more light would help too.

nice dof, but I think it would be better if the money wasnt so centered in your shot. It's also underexposed for me. I think it could be more pattern-like by making the stacks the same size.

Other than stacking, I don't see a discernable pattern here. Unless it is the ridges along the sides of the stacks, and if that is the case, then this shot is too dark. Sorry.

This photograph could benefit from some fill light in the front. The coins are backlit, and we can't see any details at the front of the coin piles.
