COLOR & FOCUS: The fluorenscent blue works very well with the black bg. Good choice! I don't see any probs with your focus.

LIGHTING: nothing to say. For this kind of shot I think you acheived what you wanted to acheived lighting wise. I wouldn't change a thing. :)

COMPOSITION: ok.... good job on centering the glass.

No I'm not sure whetherthe blue on the left side of the glass is a reflection or liquid. It looks more like liquid to me. Whatever it s it's very distracting and breaks the "evenness" of the centered subject. There are lso some black spots on the ice in the middle of the glass. It looks like dust or something. It also revoves from the perfection of the shot. And what's this!! The left border is thiker than the other side?? OOPS!! :) Gotta watch out for that! ;-)

All in all a good shot. I gave you 7 cuz of the originality and nice colors. The biggest challenge is getting the WOW! factor in and that'll bring your photo in the 6s or higher!! There's no secret recipe for that cuz I'm pretty inconsistant myself! :)

Hitting a 5.2 on a 1st submission is good! Keep it up!
