My first reaction when I saw your photo was the reflection, its a great reflection, and I would have loved it if it was more the focus of the image. The shoes themselves are great, and I like the choice of socks.

As you mentioned in your description, the background is a drawback. Not so much that it isnt blurred, but because the cloth itself is wrinkled and folded. An all black background would have been nice as well.

The score overall is pretty decent too. You placed 27th out of 120, or the 78th percentile... not too bad at all.

Keep shooting and submitting.

No snifter or side glass of water? Looks like a shot instead :) Love the golden tones and the bokeh. (ahh I had to go look it up - memory does not serve me well. i was a bartender once a loooong time ago in a foo foo restaurant. now I see it can be served this way lol)
