Work on creating a more interesting composition. Your horizon is tilted, but not enough to look intentional. The sign post on the left is distracting. Because you're shooting into the sun, we can't see sufficient. shadow detail on the trash. Might've been better to shoot from the other side.

I think you should have been closer to the subject because the leaves take away the attention because they seem to be getting most of the flash.. other then that maybe you could have more to the left because the road seems it could have been used more as a backdrop because leading lines are often considered more interesting..
