IMHO, the color in the orange peel is oversaturated, otherwise a very good photo, I like the variation in the background color from one corner to another

Yeah! A fantastic shot. In my opinion one of the best shots of this week. I love the colours of your image: I think it was a great choice the blue background. Is that really a splash, or does the fact that so little of the glass is shown indicate that something is happening outside the picture. The droplets are interesting but, I think, confusing. To my eye it seems to realistic to be a great abstract, but too abstract to be a really great realistic shot despite the brilliant colors and composition.

Diagonal composition of the cup and the orange gives great interest to the shot. It leads your eyes from the orange down along the cup and then back up toward the water splashing. I think that the lighting coming from the top left is distracting to the picture.
