04_Leanaby em3Comment by CapeSail: I like the angle and clarity. Nice conversion. It looks like there is quite a bit of makeup on her...this probably looks really good in color as well. |

04_Leanaby em3Comment by hajeka: Wonderful portrait, all attention seems to go to the eye. Perhaps the light on the face is a little too much, bit don't thnik it;s very disturbing. |

04_Leanaby em3Comment by SandyP: Wow! If you are still learning -- I'd say you are a fast learner. This is so pretty. The contrast is so striking, and what gorgeous eyes. |

Welcome a board btw and it looks like you joined just in time to take part in what will be the best side challenge this year! Ah, after browsing your porfolio the username has more meaning. |

The Best Six Pot?by em3Comment by DrAchoo: Technicals: I think you did well here. It's almost a 6 which almost always indicates that the technicals were well done. You chose a nice perspective to show off both the wording and give depth to the engine. The lighting is well done as well as the B&W conversion. One issue, which you cannot help, is the distortion the 10-22 lens gave you. I can see it mainly at the lower right. Again, though, what can you do about that? The whites on the front stripes are just a bit overdone and I may have been tempted to try to reveal a bit more in the central shadows as the center of the picture is pretty dark (thus not giving us something to look at except on the periphery of the canvas).
The feel: Feels like a nice ad. |

04_Leanaby em3Comment by pineapple: The mouth rather than the eyes are sometimes the interesting focal point of a face, I learn that here. |

04_Leanaby em3Comment by Melethia: You'll do just fine! A gorgeous model and I like the angle and composition you chose. As others have mentioned, there's a "hot spot" on her forehead - that can be toned down in post processing. I look forward to seeing what you contribute here! |
