fldave - thank you for your comments! I really need to work on portraits - I didn't actually crop this photo, I just tend to take very close up portraits. I think I need to adjust my screen brightness/calibration because this photo doesnt seem so dark to me. I checked on other computers though, and it is wayyyy darker than it is on my screen, so thank you!

mchalmers - That photo just blew me away..I feel a wave of inspiration ;)

I gave this a 4, so here are my thoughts... as a portrait, the crop is excessive. I would try to not cut off body parts. The lighting is too dark, even for an "ultra-violent" movie like A Clockwork Orange (which I have watched many times, demented person that I am.)

I like the idea for the shot and applaud your creativity, but without a title, there really is no connection to February to the average viewer.

as I said in another photo that had a female facial portrait in it...pluck them brows (this from a hairdresser)...the eye should be framed by a beautiful brow...otherwise a little dark for me

Seems a bit dark, but then so is Clockwork Orange. I tried to watch it once and was only able to sit through about 1/2 of it. Not my style.
