JPEG Police here...
There is a lack of sharpness to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 35k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)
The nature of the image covers it well, and I am likely the only one who will notice this. |

Asian Beetle Crossingby k9logicComment by Tammer: Other than appearing a tad over sharpened, I like the simplicity of your image. Nice blurred background that doesn't distract from the ladybug or the plant. Good composition as well. Maybe a bit of a blue cast as I look at it longer, but I still think it's good. |
