Shelter for the nightby NotroublesComment by elizadeb: Wow...looks like a real blizzard!
On a good end, I love this in B & W. I see hints of red (?) so I'm wondering if you tried selective desat. What this photo needs is a big dose of sharpening and contrast. |

Shelter for the nightby NotroublesComment by bauerfan71: The graininess and lack of contrast arent helping me here. I do like the composition and the mood. Maybe a different method of processing would make it more interesting. |

Shelter for the nightby NotroublesComment by VitaminB: Living in Canada, I have experienced this kind of weather often. Luckily, spring is around the corner and we should be out of it soon. Your photo captures the bleakness of winter well. |

Shelter for the nightby NotroublesComment by digifotojo: Geezz, I hope not. ;-) This is a wonderful capture and very reminiscent of turn-of-the-century imagery. I love the subtle hint of red in the roof and the way you captured the falling snow. There's a lot of movement in this image. Very well done! 10 |

Shelter for the nightby NotroublesComment by MaryO: I kind of feel like this needs more drama, like the woods behind the barn should be darker and scarier or something. Scenes like this are tough because the snow makes the light rather flat. |
