Nice guiding lines bring my eyes straight to the barrel and the candle.

the foreground bottle blur supports the eye moving backward. The floor tiles are a bit too much, creating a busy feel. But I dig this type of shot-like books in a library.

A wine cellar is not a place many get to see. Very nice.
If the picture were a little underexposed (to give more prominence to the candle) and if the white balance was set to daylight (to give a yellow cast to the entire place), it might've looked better (or atleast matched the title better) I think.

I would have preferred a slightly longer lens so that the barrel would be comparatively larger in the frame. I think all the action is in the second room, so the longer lens could have also trimmed down on the first room. The second room looks so cozy!

Excellent shot. Nice work managing the exposure in what was probably very difficult conditions. Nice perspective and composition. Very well done.

Nice texture and vibrant colors. Odd scene as well, which is always interesting.

I over-edit as a rule, so here's how I would have ruined this: First off, I maybe would have gotten lower and a bit further away from the boat to give it a deeper, vast feel, and I would have toned down the red in the clay/lake bed/whatever to make it look even dryer than it is, then dodged and burned the cracks to get them to pop a bit more and add a deeper feel to the image. Probably also desaturated it a bit to also play up the stark nature of the landscape and scene in general.

But those are just editing preferences. It's a great find and a great idea.

I would like it better without the face. It's a beautiful nature scene.

Strange how a picture lacking the yellow light of the sun, doesn't attract. Good shot 6
