The only thing that doesn't feel right in this photo are the stairs leading out of the frame. I think the composition would benefit if the stairs were leading toward the center.

I feel like this would have been a perfect moment to use a ND grad filter to darken the sky and keep it from blowing out. The house/building seems incidental instead of intentional.

This looks like a nice place to capture images. However for me this one just does not grab me. It appears overly dark and with a lack of interesting details. I would liked to have seen something more dramatic within this piece.

Candid? Hmmm... not really, to me anyway. If I were judging it in the bird portrait or other, more appropriate challenge, I would give it a 5. The crop / composition doesn't appeal to me, the focus is a bit soft and I could be wrong, but that bright red color doesn't appear natural. Sorry to be so negative - just my opinion. :)
