Very nice capture of a critical moment. I agree with the cropping--eliminating the face directs the attention to the legs and the skate board. Unfortunately I find the background distracting.

If you skate, know anything about skateboarding, what looks good - what doesn't... you would know that perspective is almost everything to the non-skatboarder. Get down on your hands and knees and be one with that sweet harsh gravel. This image does however remind me of some old-school skating we used to do for some reason.

Good motion capture, but cutting the subject's head off makes for a distracting image.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

Children are prime targets for candids. One never really has to leave their comfort zone to take one of them at any given time because children's emotions are really uncontained. This is cute, but it's out of focus and not very well composed. I'm afraid it holds very little interest for me as a candid. I like to see something a bit more out of the ordinary, or different. It's a 3 for me.

You found a fun carefree moment to capture for this candid shot. I like what you've done but wish that it wasn't blurred. Looks like some camera shake/movement? Good luck in the challenge.
