Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. Very true, children are a joy and a gem...even when they test our patience;-) Very lovely portrait of your son. You caught some great catch lights in those big brown eyes. Lighting and skin tones in this color portrait are great too! I do have a critique (picky, picky right;-) ) and that is with any great portrait one never caps off the top of the head - unless your composition just has the face fill the frame. Nonetheless this is a great shot of this happy smiling child.

The crop works very well and you've got good catch lights in the eyes. The use of a reflector on the left may have helped with the shadows on that side.
