I like the softness of the photo and the feeling and mood that it creates through out. I do wish it was just a little bit sharper however as my eye does have a slight issue finding a place to start to peruse the image.

I like the effect of the lighting to give the very dream like state, excellent control and very nice through out the frame. When I first looked at it, i thought that she really was sleeping as children normally have a wrinkled face when pretending, but is a very nicely composed with the positioning and angle that you took the photo from.

The processing and and crop of this shot are beautiful. I feel you should have scored higher than the score recieved for this shot.

Day 13 - Seagull Beauty

At first glance this seems like such a simple shot, yet on further examination it's so much more. The gull is fine as the subject, yet the background really makes it taken on a new characteristic altogether. Instead of being that annoying creature waiting for a free lunch, it's part of the land and sea, almost bridging the two. It takes on almost human characteristics, like a person taking a leisurely stroll down the beach at sunset.

I find this "relaxing" to look at, not sure why, but I'm guessing due to the purple on the green and dreaminess you gave the photo. DOF is perfect to accentuate the two main flowers.

I really like this - one of the best on slice of life so far.
I first thought it was some embroidery abstract, or a hair net or something, until I read the blurb. Great pattern, complementary colours, and interesting textures.
