Lighting and focus are off, but the picture has great atmosphere (maybe thanks to the low light and out-of-focus). I like the combination of the very old hands, just sticking into the picture and the intensily learning child.

I like the mood you captured with the lighting, but it is also what bothers the most and give a sense of a posed picture. (Normal lighting for study would not be this dim.)
